Erin Yoshi
Erin Yoshi was born in Los Angeles, CA where she was encouraged from an early age to be creative. She built a darkroom and started developing photography at age 7. She was influenced by stories of her families experiences during the Internment Camps of WWII, which instilled a curiosity for human capacity and the politics of power. She has also been active as a community organizer, which influences her art and project themes.
Yoshi's artwork reflects of the struggle within communities, and the interplay of social injustice and class struggles in our society. She obtained her Masters in Business Administration focusing on International Sustainability.
