Karel Demel

Karel Demel was born in Prague in 1942. He graduated from the Conservatory and the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague in 1974. His work takes strong inspiration from music and poetry. He likes to combine techniques, for example the dry needle, engraving and roulette techniques or line etching and aquatint. He has exhibited his works in more than 20 solo exhibitions throughout Europe.
